- Soooooo, Kissty Kissty, my groomer, forgets sometimes that I will chew through anything and everything if given half a chance. I only kill my toys, Moose's or Marc's scarves, Moose's collars, kennel rugs or my leash. The picture is all that is left of my field leash that Dad just got me.
This is the second time I have done this to her. Kissty was worried that Dad would be mad at her. Mom set her straight - Dad would be mad at me, but not at her. Kissty Kissty said I was being groomed for free. Dad didn't like that. He thinks (and so do I) that Kissty works hard to make me look good and she should get paid for it. Kissty told Mom that Hugh is like her baby too, so that is what she was going to do and Dad could pay her all he wanted and she just wouldn't cash the check.
Mom heard from First Mommy that my Dad, Drifter, chewed through his hunting vest this last trip out hunting with his Dad. First Mommy said that they think it was because Drifter was mad because he didn't get to go in and eat with everyone else and that he got stuck in his crate, so he chewed his vest up. Mom says that I get bored easy. She says that I am worse than any smart dog (including the Border Collie Clancy) that she has ever had when it comes to getting bored easy. Mom wishes there was something she could do for me during the day so that I wasn't so bored, but she really is reluctant to leave much in the kennel with me anymore because I am so good at detroying stuff.
I did chew up Moosie's collar really good. Mom was pretty mad at me for that because it had skulls on it and it was pink. I don't know what that has to do with anything, but apparently that was really important.
Today was a big snow day. Not good for Mom, but great for me and my pals!!!
I am Hugh
